TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES: Our Process

The Fast Chart service division of Applied Medical Services follows an easy, straightforward process for maximum success:

Physicians dial directly into a digital dictation system. After the medical chart is dictated and transcribed, it is then reviewed for accuracy and returned to the facility.

Documents may be returned in a variety of methods including fax, modem, email, and Internet file transfer (FTP). These documents are returned in a timely manner to facilitate patient care. Admissions and transfers (STATs) will be returned within one hour.

Fast Charts' dictation system is both powerful and easy to use, requiring a minimal amount of time for implementation and training. The initial setup can be accomplished in just a matter of days. Once setup is complete, each physician will be provided with a unique ID number and a basic dictation format to follow.
