- System Requirements
- 800 Mhz processor (minimum)
- 512 MB RAM (minimum, 1 GB recommended )
- 250 MB free hard drive space (500 or more preferred)
- Windows 2000 or XP operating system (Windows
95/98/ME versions are not compatible)
- Broadband internet connection
- Reliable email sending and receiving capabilities
- Available serial port or USB to serial port adapter for foot
pedal
- Edit Script platform requires MS Office 2003

- Must demonstrate a high level of medical knowledge on a
medical language/terminology exam
- Must demonstrate transcription mastery in a typing
skills test
- Equipment Requirements
TA compatible foot pedal (9-pin female serial connector) and
standard headset (as used with walkman, radio, etc.)
