Applied Medical Services, LLC Promotes Michelle
Durner to President
Durham,
N.C. – August 26, 2004- Applied Medical Services,
a leading provider
of quality medical
transcription, billing and coding, practice management and consulting
services, announced today the promotion of Michelle Durner from
CFO to President.
“I am very excited to accept the role
of President at
Applied Medical Services. We are restructuring some areas of
the company to better serve our clients and I am appreciative
to have the opportunity to lead AMS into a new phase of total
practice management,” comments Michelle
L. Durner, President
of Applied Medical Services. “I have
big shoes to fill,
but I feel that I am up for this incredible opportunity and
it is my goal to lead AMS into an already bright future.”
Michelle
Durner, CPA, earned a
Bachelor of Science
in Accounting
and Finance from
the University
of North Carolina-Charlotte.
After serving
with Southern
Pump & Tank
Company (SPATCO)
and Intercall,
Inc., Durner
came to Applied
Medical Services
in August 1999.
She is currently
members of many
professional
organizations
including HealthCare
Billing and Management
Association (HBMA),
HealthCare Financial
Management Association
(HFMA), HealthCare
Compliance Association
(HCCA), and Emergency
Department Practice
Management Association
(EDPMA).
