Other Components of the Fast Chart Services
platform include:
DocQmanage
DocQmanage is an integral part of the Fast Chart
Services experience, providing instant and secure viewing of
transcriptions and patient information in a GUI format from any
Internet-enabled (Internet Explorer 6 or higher) or networked computer.
DocQmanage is a browser-based application, so it
does not require software to be loaded onto the desktop. In addition to
viewing the medical transcription report, authorized system users are
able to listen to the physician voice file if it is integrated into the
online transcription system. Using the View Versions component,
authorized users are presented with a list of each version of a report,
showing the version number, the editor ID, the time, date, and author. Users can select one version at a time to view
and listen to the voice file, if it is integrated. All
viewing screens provide security and audit-tracking standards that meet
or exceed JCAHO, CMS (HCFA) and HIPAA regulatory requirements.
DocQmanage restricts or allows viewing by user
profile permissions administered by facility-selected personnel such as
the HIM Director or Security Officer. The
audit trail viewing includes activities related to the particular
digital transcription document including all instances of listening,
editing, printing, faxing, downloading and signing. Audit
logs of transcription report access include:
|
•

DocQroute is also an integral part of the Fast
Chart Services experience. It provides
routing of transcription reports to printers and fax machines on the
facility network and at physician offices.
In
addition to printing on a single printer within the HIM department or
sending reports to a folder, DocQroute provides
convenience and saving of time with advanced routing. Remote printing
to nursing units saves time and cuts down on telephone calls concerning
inpatients. An electronic download feature is also provided. Distribution options are configurable by
physician, by report type, by department, or by type of routing (print
or fax) to an unlimited number of destinations.
Electronic Downloading
Hospitals
using the download feature inherent in DocQroute
can provide digital transcription
copies to healthcare providers like radiology practices and physician
groups.
DocQroute allows authorized users to download
selected online transcription reports from a secure (https) Web site
for local storage in folders within their own network. Using the
download feature,
physician group practices can move
transcription reports into digital physician Medical Practice
Management systems. Practices or
departments can initiate a download each morning, for example, to receive the prior day’s transcription
reports. Multiple naming conventions are
offered using patient name, job number, work type and other options to
index files according to the user’s preference, and selection options
mean users can choose to download all new reports or only specific jobs.
DocQsign
The
Fast Chart Services DocQsign
is a browser-based physician digital authentication software, designed
for physician efficiency with easy-to-use color screens and options for
mouse or keyboard control.
DocQsign includes
multi-line physician editing from the browser using the RTF word
processor, eliminating the need to install and maintain Microsoft Word.
Physicians
can access, edit and sign from any personal computer with an Internet
(Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher) or network connection. Using
the Fast Chart Services system and an integrated voice file, physicians
may retrieve and listen to the original dictation voice file. Our DocQsign
has been designed for superior speed in both the editing and signing
modes to accommodate the priorities of physicians. Since
no transcription software is loaded on a physician desktop, deployment
is simple and the expense of installing Microsoft Word or similar
software is avoided.
The
Fast Chart Services DocQsign also meets all regulatory requirements for
JCAHO, CMS (HCFA), and HIPAA. This part of
the Fast Chart platform, DocQsign, is especially popular with our
Radiology and Emergency Department clients
